My goodness what a fun filled day in Watch Hill.  After a few dark clouds blew through – the sun came out and it was a beautiful day.  A bit windy – but refreshing!  Thanks to everyone that participated and contributed to our 1st Cookie Sampler & Recipe Swap Day!  What an assortment we had – yum!!!

I was able to sneak away for a bit with my sister and a friend to take a ride on the horse drawn wagon – fun!!  The driver estimated we were going 3 mph

Be sure to stop down to Watch Hill to see the beautiful Christmas tree (to the right of the gazebo) that was lit this evening!  Now the sunsets will be twice as beautiful!

It was so great to see so many familiar faces coming back to Watch Hill to celebrate the Thanksgiving weekend.  Have a great rest of the weekend and safe travels!

It has been a fun morning… lots of friends are back for the holiday weekend, stopping in for a cup of our great coffee and to say hello.

We will be open for a few hours tomorrow morning (Thanksgiving Day) for coffee, pastries and newspapers.

Another beautiful day in Watch Hill.  We had several guests visit today - some that live right around the corner, others passing through headed back home to Fairfield, CT. 

We’re gearing up for a busy holiday weekend at the store.  We will be open for a few hours Thanksgiving morning – so stop by for a hot eggnog latte and say hello!  If you can’t make it on Thursday, be sure to come by on Friday between 1- 4pm for our first cookie sample and recipe swap!

Wow ~ what a day in Watch Hill.  Granted, it is a bit chilly (30′) – but oh how blue is the sky and bright is the sun!

We’re gearing up for our Cookie Sample and Recipe Swap – Friday, November 29th – right here at the coffee shop.  So if you’re looking for something to do the day after your Thanksgiving Feast – stop by!  Bring a few dozen of your favorite cookie, along with the recipe.  Sit and relax, bring a friend and take a walk to Napatree or enjoy a friendly game of chess, cribbage or work on the puzzle.  Whatever floats your boat!  Beverages will be discounted on this day.  We have a great selection of hot drinks to chose from.  Hope to see you then (or anytime )!
